The Graduate Certificate in Advanced Engineered Wood Composites is a collaborative effort of the Departments of Forest Management, College of Natural Sciences, Forestry and Agriculture and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, College of Engineering.

Educational Objectives:
- Students will acquire knowledge and will demonstrate comprehension on processing and manufacturing of wood-polymer and fiber-reinforced hybrid composites.
- Students will conduct and analyze material property characterization of wood-polymer and fiber-reinforced hybrid composites.
- Students will develop skills in assessing technology and systematizing application of the interdisciplinary graduate training to product development of low-cost, high-performance wood-polymer and fiber-reinforced hybrid composites.
