ECO 485 - Introduction to Economic Statistics and Econometrics Surveys the application of probability and statistics to economic problems. Emphasis on construction and testing of economic hypotheses. Practical application of regression techniques, including use of computer, occupies second half of course. Strong algebra skills required.
Satisfies the General Education Mathematics Requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes MAT 215 or MAT 232, and C- or better in either ECO 350 or ECO 321 or ECO 420.
