SFR 530 - Wood Physics and Applications in Building Systems This course addresses the non-mechanical properties of wood and wood-based composite materials in response to practical considerations of wood use with a focus on timber building systems. A broad spectrum of fundamental physical principles and laws in relation to the properties are reviewed.
Prerequisites & Notes understanding of basic physics, wood anatomy or permission.
