SPA 413 - Hispanic Women Writers

A critical study of poetry and prose produced by Spanish and Spanish-American women writers from the 17th century to the present. Focus on the discourse of these women as it confronts a male oriented and a male controlled field. Specific topics vary from year to year.

Satisfies the General Education Cultural Diversity and International Perspectives Requirement.

SPA 307 or SPA 308, or permission.
