NUR 675 - Philosophical Foundations and Ethical Decision Making Frameworks for Advanced Practice Nursing This course constitutes an exploration of logical and epistemological foundations of empirical science. This course engages students in a reflective and dialogical process that utilizes theory to guide structuring of nursing knowledge and the philosophical underpinnings of advanced nursing practice, leadership, and practice inquiry. Ethical decision-making frameworks and relevant research findings will be used to promote the development of application skills for clinical practice.
Prerequisites & Notes Undergraduate/graduate course work in philosophy, ethics, science and social science preferred. Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
