ANT 453 - People and Cultures of Mesoamerica A study of contemporary peasant and tribal societies of Mexico and Guatemala including their history since the Spanish Conquest. Focuses on Mestizo and Native American communities, relations between folk societies and urban areas, current theory concerning Middle American societies.
