MBA 655 - Financial Modeling Introduces principles and techniques for building financial models in an uncertainty framework. Finance topics are drawn from a variety of areas: personal financial planning, investments, derivatives, and corporate finance. The course will integrate financial, accounting and statistical concepts and techniques to construct financial models and to perform analyses using MS Excel. Emphasizes the application of financial modeling techniques in identifying and implementing business solutions. The course will be of special interest to students seeking more hands-on experience in constructing financial models.
Prerequisites & Notes MBA 651: Graduate School of Business degree program students, or permission from GSB.
